Wall Safes
A wall safe is installed flush within a wall cavity and concealed behind artwork, a mirror, or a decorative panel, combining solid steel construction with the security advantage of being invisible. Concealment is widely recognised by security professionals as one of the most effective deterrents against opportunistic theft — an intruder who cannot find a safe cannot attack it. A correctly fitted wall safe sits level with the wall surface and gives no visual indication of what lies behind the covering.
Wall safes are sized to fit between standard wall studs, the structural uprights found in most domestic and light commercial construction, making installation straightforward without structural alteration. They suit homes, apartments, hotel rooms, offices, and retail back-offices where discreet access to cash, jewellery, passports, and important documents is required alongside a clean, unobtrusive interior finish.
Safegear's wall safe range spans the VC, VCO, and Wega series in capacities from 12 to 169 litres, including models burglary-tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 1, alongside the R Series tube safes for narrow-cavity installation. Key, combination, and electronic lock options are available; electronic locks are particularly practical for wall safes, where operating a key behind a covering panel can be awkward. Professional installation is available across Europe and North America to ensure correct cavity anchoring and seamless concealment.
