Drawing cabinets — also known as plan chests or flat-file cabinets — are the professional standard for storing large-format documents flat, safely, and in perfect condition. Safegear supplies drawing cabinets in two DIN standard sizes: A1 (594 × 841 mm) and A0 (841 × 1189 mm), each available with 5 or 10 drawers to suit different storage capacities. Suitable contents include technical drawings, architectural plans, blueprints, engineering schematics, site plans, posters, transparencies, folios, printed materials, and fine art prints.

All cabinets feature heavy-duty reinforced steel shelves with precision ball-bearing drawer slides for smooth, reliable operation under full load. Internal drawer dividers allow each drawer to be subdivided to accommodate smaller DIN-standard formats down to A5, making them a versatile solution for offices and studios with mixed document sizes. Every unit is lockable with key, ensuring controlled access to sensitive or valuable documents.
