Fireproof Data Safes
Fireproof data safes are specifically engineered to protect digital storage media — hard drives, USB drives, memory cards, magnetic tapes, and optical discs — from destruction in a fire. The critical distinction between a data safe and a standard fireproof document safe is the interior tolerance specification: paper is damaged above approximately 177°C, but digital media can be permanently destroyed at temperatures and humidity levels well below that threshold. A standard fireproof safe that protects paper will not necessarily protect data media.

This certification confirms that the safe maintains interior temperatures below 50°C and relative humidity below 85% throughout 60 minutes of fire exposure — the conditions required to preserve magnetic and optical media integrity. Suitable for offices, server rooms, IT departments, broadcast facilities, and any environment where physical data backups or archive media represent critical, irreplaceable assets.
