Paper Star Light
The Paper Star Light is a fireproof document safe, graded S2 to EN 14450 for burglary resistance and fire-tested for 30 minutes, so papers survive a fire as well as a break-in. Seven sizes run from 24 to 919 litres, holding 2 to 75 lever-arch binders.
30-minute fire protection for paper
The fire rating is a paper rating — it holds the inside cool enough that documents do not char during a 30-minute fire. Data media such as tapes, disks and drives are damaged at far lower temperatures, so backups belong in a data-rated safe such as the Fire Star or DataPlus ranges. Burglary resistance is graded S2 to EN 14450 and certified by ECB•S in Germany.
